When we created The Vilomah Community, our hope wa When we created The Vilomah Community, our hope was simple — to build a community that supports, uplifts, and stands beside one another through life’s hardest moments.

Today, we saw that vision come to life.

We had the privilege of attending the 1st birthday celebration of KJ’s Club Cafe in Gundagai.

What made the day even more special was the incredible generosity shown, with funds raised for The Vilomah Community in honour of their beautiful Rosie.

The kindness, the conversations, and the willingness to give back in Rosie’s name was a powerful reminder that even in the deepest grief, there is connection, compassion, and community.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, donated, and supported. Happy 1st Birthday KJ's Club Cafe 🤎🫶
The funny thing about grief… it brings people toge The funny thing about grief… it brings people together in ways you would never expect.

It pulls you out of your comfort zone. It asks more of you than you ever thought possible, yet somehow allows you to achieve things you never imagined you could.

It builds you a village.

Megan and Bek’s grief brought them back together — from knowing each other at a young age, to walking a path of loss side by side. Through that shared heartbreak, they built something incredible: the vilomah community.

A community grounded in strength, love, and even laughter in the darkest moments.

Ruby and Mia shine brightly in these women. They are the driving force behind the tireless work they do — the reason for it all.

Because it takes immense strength to laugh again after experiencing such deep loss… but love like theirs never fades. It simply finds new ways to shine. ✨💛
We are so proud to share that The Vilomah Communit We are so proud to share that The Vilomah Community are now certified ambassadors of @manaaki.mats 🤍

Originating in New Zealand, Manaaki Mats are a specialised cooling resource used in bereavement care. They are designed to gently keep a baby cool, slowing natural changes and allowing families more precious, uninterrupted time to hold, love, and say goodbye to their baby—time that is so incredibly important.

On Friday, we had the privilege of completing training with co-founders Annie & Claire. Their compassion, knowledge, and commitment to supporting bereaved families is truly inspiring, and we feel honoured to now be part of this meaningful work.

We are also incredibly proud to share that we have purchased Manaaki Mats, which will be available for bereaved families at Wagga Base Hospital and Calvary Hospital 🤍

This is especially exciting as these hospitals are now among the first in Australia to have access to Manaaki Mats—becoming just the 7th in the country.

A beautiful step forward in ensuring families are given the time, space, and support they deserve during the most heartbreaking moments of their lives. 🤍

Together we want to show our families they are not alone. There is a community of people who will together walk with them along their journey of grief with no judgement, only love.
