Every grieving parent carries invisible truths. T Every grieving parent carries invisible truths.
The things we wish others understood… the moments that still hurt… the love that never fades.

After sharing this in our story, our inbox was flooded with messages from parents finishing this sentence:
"I wish people knew..."

The responses have been raw, honest, and deeply moving.
It’s clear — there's so much that goes unsaid.

We want to keep the conversation going & and would love for you to add your voice.

Your words might be the reminder someone else needs to hear — that they are not alone

✨ Finish the sentence:

We may share some responses in an upcoming post to raise awareness and connection.

Together, we break the silence.
Together, we honour the love and the loss.

July is Bereaved Parents Awareness Month 🕊 Thi July is Bereaved Parents Awareness Month 🕊

This month is dedicated to raising awareness of the ongoing grief faced by parents whose babies have died - and the deep, lifelong need for care, compassion, and continued support.

At The Vilomah Community, we know that the pain of losing a child doesn't end after the first few weeks. Grief changes, but it never goes away.

This month, we stand with bereaved parents everywhere - honouring their babies, acknowledging their loss, and reminding the world that support is needed not just in the early days, but in the many months and years that follow.

To every parent walking this path - your grief is real, your baby is remembered, and you are not alone 🤍

At our Gala Dinner, we had the honour of sharing t At our Gala Dinner, we had the honour of sharing this heartfelt video message from @lizzylegsellis, who bravely spoke about her own experience of pregnancy loss.

She shared how lonely this journey can be — and recognised just how important it is to have the support of a community who truly understands.

To be seen & acknowledged by someone who has walked this path herself means more than we can say.

Thank you, Liz, for your courage, compassion, and for standing beside every family who carries the love and grief of their baby. 💫

At our Gala Dinner, a very special display took ce At our Gala Dinner, a very special display took centre stage — a wall of stars. ✨

Each star represented a family supported by The Vilomah Community since we began in September 2021. There were 74 stars… 74 babies loved, remembered, and deeply missed. 💫

This time last year, that number was 50. The growth is both heartbreaking and humbling — and in just the two weeks since our Gala, this number has sadly already increased.

These stars were lovingly handcrafted by Emma and Dave from @waggaeventhireandstyling — one of which honours their own precious son, Grayson.

Emma, Dave, thank you for creating something so meaningful, for sharing your beautiful boy with us, and for filling the room with so much love through your stunning decorations. Your support means the world.
